For doctors and clinics · Austria & Europe

Your patients are
looking. Right now.

Most practices are excellent and almost invisible at the moment a patient decides. I close that gap: quietly, within the rules, scoped to your budget, and without asking you to become a marketer.

A street in Vienna

The situation

From the patient's side of the search.

Someone in your city needs a specialist. They look on their phone, often in the evening, sometimes in a language that is not the local one, and they choose from whatever they can find and book quickly.

Very good practices get missed in that moment every day, not for any lack of quality, but because the search simply never reaches them. That is the whole problem, and it is a solvable one.

The opportunity most practices miss

Not every patient
speaks the
local language.

Every major European city holds a large international population: institutions, embassies, corporate staff, researchers and students. Vienna alone has the UN, the IAEA, the OSCE and OPEC. These patients need doctors, they search in English, and they are very often self-payers or privately insured.

A practice with no English-language presence is entirely invisible to them. Not under-performing. Invisible. This is usually the fastest and least contested growth available to a practice, and almost nobody is pursuing it systematically.

It is also the part I am best placed to do: I have spent twenty years working across languages and health systems, and I know how patients decide when they are outside their own.

Working on patient-facing materials

The work

What a practice usually needs.

Every practice is different, so engagements are built rather than bought off a shelf. In practice, the work tends to draw on these.

01

A website that works

Clear, fast, mobile-first and bilingual, built so a patient understands within seconds whether you are the right doctor for them, and can act.

02

Online booking

Fewer phone calls for your reception, fewer missed appointments, and a patient journey that does not depend on someone picking up.

03

Local search presence

Google Business Profile, maps, structured data and local SEO, so you appear when someone in your district searches your specialty.

04

The English-speaking patient

A properly written English presence, not a translation, aimed at the international patients actively searching for care in your city.

05

Reminders and follow-up

Automated appointment reminders and recall, which reduce no-shows measurably and recover revenue you are currently losing quietly.

06

Opening a private practice

For doctors leaving the Kassenvertrag: everything above, sequenced and delivered before you open, so patients exist from day one.

Two things I take seriously

Compliance is not an afterthought.

Medical advertising rules

Every country limits how doctors may present themselves. In Austria, Ärztegesetz §53 rules out comparative claims and anything sensationalist, and requires information to be objective and truthful; Germany, Italy and Spain each have their own version. A good deal of what a general marketing agency would cheerfully propose is not permitted.

I have spent two decades marketing inside regulatory frameworks that are considerably stricter than this. Working within the rules is not a constraint I tolerate; it is the discipline I was trained in.

Patient data and DSGVO

Health data deserves more care than a contact form emailing symptoms in plain text, or a booking tool hosted outside the EU with no processing agreement in place. These shortcuts are common and they are your liability, not the developer's.

Everything I build uses EU hosting, proper processing agreements, and no third-party tracking by default.

How an engagement works

Slow to start,
then quick.

01

A visibility review

Before anything else, I look at what patients searching for your specialty in your city actually encounter, across the whole field, with your practice placed within it. You get the picture, and there is no charge and no obligation attached.

02

A conversation

We go through what I found. Sometimes the honest answer is that your practice is fine and does not need me. If so, I will say that. It costs me an hour and saves you a great deal more.

03

A proposal

A specific scope with a fixed price, sequenced so the highest-value work happens first. No retainers you cannot exit, and no line items you did not ask for.

04

Built and measured

I build it, and then I show you what changed: enquiries, bookings, where patients came from. If it is not working, we say so and we adjust.

What it costs

Scoped to
your practice.

Most doctors assume this kind of help is expensive, and that assumption is the reason a lot of very good practices stay invisible. It does not have to be.

Every engagement is sized to the practice. One focused project with a fixed price agreed before anything begins, or ongoing support only if it earns its place. No long contracts and no retainer you cannot leave. A single doctor in one room does not need what a six-partner clinic needs, and should not pay for it.

Tell me your budget in the first conversation. I will tell you what is realistic within it, and where I would start if it were my practice.

Vienna at dusk

No charge, no obligation

The practice visibility review.

A short written picture of what patients searching for your specialty in your city currently find, how your practice sits within that, and the two or three things worth doing first. Yours to keep, whether or not we work together.

Get in touch

Tell me about
your practice.

A few lines is enough: your specialty, your city, and what you feel is not working. I will come back with something specific rather than a brochure. If budget is a concern, say so and I will tell you plainly what is possible.
